On May 4th Kristi Nakata was selected as first princess for the Japanese Queen Scholarship 2013 court. The Japanese Queen Scholarship Organization of Washington is "committed to the development of Japanese women into leaders through higher education, cultural awareness, and community involvement". The court will travel to various events in Seattle. They will also visit Japan, Los Angeles (Nisei Week), and San Francisco (Cherry Blossom Week). For those of you on Facebook, here is the JSQ link.
