Diane Iwasa Memorial Classroom Dedication
Last month, the Contra County Animal Shelter, held a dedication ceremony for Diane Iwasa (Ralph's wife). Diane was director of Animal Services for Contra Costa County for 18 years.
On November 5th 2002 the Contra County Board of Supervisors passed Resolution 2002/678 which states "NOW THEREFORE, BE IT BY BOARD RESOLVED, that the classroom in the new Animal Services Facility located in Martinez is hereafter named 'The Diane Iwasa Education Room' ".
The ceremony was attended to by Ralph, Karen, and Joy.
