Opening of the Don Nakata Memorial Pool (Jan 12th, 2002)
Saturday Jan12, marked the official opening of the Don Nakata Memorial Pool. The ceremony was held in the foyer of the new Bainbridge Island Aquatic Center. Julie, Susan, and Ellen addressed the crowd of well wishers. Then Ellen cut the ribbon to the doors, officially opening the pool.
